Laser beams are electromagnetic waves used in various fields and in different areas of our everyday lives. Our health center administers this know-how for medical and cosmetic purposes, placing four different laser systems at your disposal.

Independent of the type of laser used, this method has far more advantages than classical surgery. Laser beams are very precise and don’t scar. Consequently, people undergoing laser treatment are generally able to continue working and don’t require sick leaves. For example, patients can already take a shower a few hours after removing liver, or age spots. The redness around the treated area can simply be covered by special makeup you get from us after the treatment. Following tattoo removal, the area is treated with a special cream and covered by a plaster, if required. Similarly, movement and resumption of work remains unimpeded for patients following sclerosis of varicose, or spider veins. As for hair removal, 90% of patients don’t blotch or see any traces after the treatment.
What is a trial treatment?
We offer this service to all patients who visit us for the first time and are unsure about the treatment method. This involves giving the patient a trial treatment on an inconspicuous part of the body, for example removing a liver spot. The patient has six to eight weeks time to see if the result attained is satisfactory and decide if he/she would like to come back for further treatment.
The first appointment, photo, findings and trial treatment are free of charge. A minimal, flat charge is eventually added to the costs of subsequent treatment sessions.
What does laser treatment cost?
As you may well know, medical insurance companies take on the costs for laser treatment only in medically required cases – very seldom. Please let us know if we can help you find out if your medical insurance would absorb some of the treatment costs. Ultimately, the costs depend on your personal requirements. In some cases and in many “correction” treatments, additional sessions are required.
- Example: tattoos
The more the colors used and the deeper the tattoo is, the more sessions are required. Amateur tattoos are usually removed after a few sessions. However, if a tattoo was done by a professional, its removal may require a minimum of ten sessions. - Example: hair removal
20% of body hair is in the growth phase. Consequently, the treatment usually requires 4 to 6 sessions with a 4-week break in between.
The two examples above clearly show that costs can only be calculated after assessing the individual cases carefully and understanding the patient’s needs. Therefore, after the first thorough examination (anamnesis), our patients not only get a written treatment plan but also a detailed statement of costs.
