Hyaluronic acid therapy
Hyaluronic acid is a natural product that is produced by the body itself. It lends the skin its volume and fullness through the binding of interstitial fluids. Infants have a 100% production of hyaluronic acid. This production level drops drastically to 30% by the age of 50 and continues to diminish with age to reach 0%. As a result, the skin gets more saggy, cheeks hang and wrinkles become visible.
The cosmetic industry has turned to, among other products, a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid to help rectify the damage to the skin. This product has long been medically tested and proved. On the other hand, the product has a number of different types. For example: there is a difference between high and low-molecular hyaluronic acid. Success and durability of success are determined by the quality of the product administered for treatment. The use of some products is such that a re-injection is necessary already 3 months after treatment and by other products only 6 months later.
