Interesting facts about fat-away injection

» back

How is the fat-away injection administered?

Using very fine needles, the fat disintegrating agent is injected in the subcutaneous layer. This induces the melting of the fat cells and an increases the fat catabolism. The catabolised fat is then transported naturally out of the body.

Approximately, 1 cm of fat layer is dissolved per session. The number of treatment sessions is determined on the basis of your individual wishes.

Is this therapy suitable for everybody?

Yes, this therapy is suitable for anybody who does not suffer from little fat accumulations (fat deposits) in particular areas. This treatment is well tolerated because the medication is based on natural, active agents. We administer the fat-away injection only if and when diet and sport have left unattractive fat paddings behind.

Are there resulting side effects?

Itching, symptoms resembling sore muscles, swellings and temporary redness may be possible side effects following the treatment. Those side effects subside very soon.

I would like to take on the fat-away injection treatment. What are the costs I may be looking at?

The costs depend on the length or duration of the consultation sessions (whereby the first consultation session is free of charge). The treatments are charged for per session. Those costs include, the injected compound, plus material (needle crown) and duration of treatment (session).

An initial treatment for the abdomen costs approximately € 460,00 plus € 120,00 material costs.

The second session costs approx. € 260,00 plus € 120,00 material costs.

Will I be able to work after the treatment?

Principally, yes. Depending on the individual sensitivity threshold, tension and/or pain may be felt in the treated areas. In this case, the intake of Ibuprofen 800 mg (2 x 1 tablet/day) resolves the problem thereby completely sustaining the ability to work.

This treatment method is well tolerated. Nonetheless, there may be resulting side effects. The most common side effects we observed were generally temporary:

  • Local bruises and swellings at the injected areas, as the case is with any other injection
  • Light feelings of tension around the injection (caused of course by the desired skin tightening effect)
